It’s funny that our Government Economists give the Wall Street Banksters 700 Billion Dollars and they go play with $440,000 of it in California. (nice spa vacation) - But we need SPENDING at street level, A LOT of it! … and what spends faster than Social Security and Welfare?
Yeah, those boys upstairs got it ALL figured out … Cut Rates so we borrow more, which is how we got into this mess! Sheesh!

Hmmm….you might have a point there on the spending. That would be better than even the stimulus packages.
As far as the AIG thing…it will be interesting to see if anything is actually done to them.

Why not give everyone $1,000 to dig a hole then fill it in? They could then "inject this financial deposit into the local economy"!
N.B. Income tax in Britain was only brought in to fund a war with Napoleon! It kinda lingered . . .

That’s right, give more money to useless citizens who sit on their asses all day or claim to have a bad back who think they have a “right” to part of my pay check. Well, I guess that is kind of what they did, but more welfare is not the answer.

better idea …….
what if income was not taxed at all, no fed income tax or payroll tax stolen from your check. what if the hidden embedded tax passed on from business in your price of products were removed.
What if $12 trillion in off shore accounts had no more reason to be offshore
what if foreign companies wanted to move factories and jobs TO the U.S.

Can I sign up for Welfare now? About the SS, well, I do have a son that is disabled, and I do get a check for that, but it all goes to his medical expenses and needs. It does spend quick! Maybe we should all sign up for both!! Can I quit my day job now?
YOU have a really good point about this, btw!
