Disabling Windows Vista pop-up when running programs?

October 25th, 2008 · 1 Comment

I just bought a new laptop with Win Vista Home Premium and just about every time I run a program, this stupid pop-up shows reading something like “This program is trying to run, Did you start this?”. I notice it has User Account Control Panel or something in the bottom left corner of the pop-up, but I’ve gone to my User Accounts and can’t find anything to disable this feature. It’s extremely annoying.

Oh. I could have figured that out myself if i had paid more attention. but i didn't. anyway, thanks max

Start - Control Panel - user Accounts - Turn User Account Control on or off - uncheck the box, and click ok
