Do I get rid of McAfee?

January 8th, 2009 · 2 Comments

I have a Toshiba Satellite Laptop with Vista that came with it, but now it wants me to register it. Does this mean it is not protecting my computer. I see it scanning and stuff but it still says it is not fully protected.

The other computers I use have AVG Free on them. Is the AVG FREE still more protection then the McAfee with it being unregistered.

I just wanted make sure should I get rid McAfee, because I know once it is gone it will be gone forever.

Something else McAfee is not free is it?

An unregistrated anti-virus does not update, so it cannot catch the hundreds of new threats that are released on to the internet every day. It is as useless as boobs on a bull.
