My brother downloaded a game demo and it made my computer slow and now im getting pop ups to buy antivirus and anti spyware protection. The pop ups are gone now after i used AVG but now on the bottom right corner of my screen it says that my computer is at risk and that i should download a certified anti virus and spyware protector. How do i get rid of that because i know that eitehr spyware or a virus put that there. I used spy-bot search and destroy but it didnt find anything and i used AVG which cured the pop ups but im still getting the same sign. So what should i do now and should i go into safemode? please help and fast

Find a tutorial and use hijackthis. Next, spybot search and destroy.

this can be caused by a rogue software..a scareware that uses trojans or other harmful programs to get installed on ur pc and tries to panic you with telling u that your system is infected to purphase a certain product..

You are infected with rogue software. To remove rogue software you need a legit antispyware. If you can’t download try going on safe mode with networking.
