get anti virus for free.

no you don’t and most of the time when you have the browser open and an online scan pops up out of nowhere is because it’s a hoax to get you to be worried and buy their software. i don’t have anything against AVG, however i recommend another free anti-virus that i’ve found to be good too. Comodo Internet Security Suite. it has anti-virus and a firewall built in. I also recommend using SuperAntispware as extra security, it can also be found on filehippo.com

why do you want to go for online scan? where as you have installed anti-virus in your PC.. do scan with ur AV..installed any good anti-virus n anti-spyware and scan the whole PC…it is better than online scan in my view
