I am trying to download microsoft 2.0 because that is the mininum requirement for ATI Catalyst Control Center. When I tried to install ATI CCC, it said i need Microsoft .Net Framework 2.0 or higher. When i tried installing 2.0 it said it was incompatible with another version of Framework/ installation aborted. It says I have Service Pack 2 in system general, but in my control panel add/remove programs it says I have Service Pack 1 but not Service Pack 2? Is that the problem or because I have other versions of Framework on my computer? Thanks to all that contribute =]

It is because of Service Pak 2, You do need SP2 to install .Net Framework 2.0, you can also check your SP by right clicking on My Computer Icon , go down to Propteries and in the General Info Tab it will tell you your OS and what Service Pak your running, If it is SP1 head on over to

download just SP2 if you want SP3 also just open up IE and goto tools and go to windows update, It will take quite a while but it will update all your patches and also Framework 2.0 in the process. Hope this helps.
