i love limewire so much because i can get all of the music i want for free, and itunes dont have alot of the oldschool hits from the 90s like limewire does i had virus protection on my computer,McFee and i had spyware protection from the yahoo toolbar but it didnt work

Limewire itself doesn't, but the things you download may have something attached to it. Always scan with a decent virusscanner before you open it.

Not limewire (or any other P2P software) in itself but what and from whom you download with it. Be extra carefull.
BTW in DC++ (like
http://www.softpedia.com/get/Internet/File-Sharing/StrongDC.shtml) you can actually see the viruses in your download queue screen: they have the same name as the legit files with an.exe at the end.

i've heard that it does from a lot of other people …but not me i have Mcaffe virus and firewall protection baby… and my computer is just fine.

You should use an antivirus program and antispyware software, because your computer is now infected with viruses and/or spyware.
