do they allow wireless routers inside a briefcase in airport security?

i know its sounds weird, but my luggage is already full. should i just put in my check-in luggage or keep inside the briefcase?i am traveling from San Jose, CA to Oklahoma City.

      I’ve never had a problem with a wireless router either in my checked baggage, or in my briefcase.

      I’ve carried them several times.
