My computer is screwed up and I have the AOL security software downloaded onto my computer but when i restart my my computer nothing shows up but my desktop background and I can run the task manager so I was wondering if anyone knew the file path name i can type in on the task manager to open it. And does anyone know the shortcut to open the start menu? For example I type in "aol.exe" to open AOL…hopefully if I run a virus/spam scan my computer will work again.

If you want the AOL program in the Start menu, do a search for it and right click on it. If you see, and you should, the words "pin to start menu", click on it.
If you want to do a search for the particular AOL program on your computer, click on "Start" then "Search and type in "AOL".
This is how I'd do it.
