      And you scan these before you play/run them..?
      When was the last time it updated it’s anti-virus definitions?

      mp3 files shouldn’t have viruses through limewire. Unless you were downloading compressed folders for bunch of musics.

      Regardless of what anti-virus you have or whether or not it includes P2P shields, the chance of infection is still there. No anti-virus is 100% and P2P file sharing, in particular, should be avoided.
