Does Norton 360 have real time scanning?

Cause like I didn’t even know my school had an Anti-Virus.

Cuz like I wanted to see if I could download A virus to it directly from the Internet. And like when the download screen came on like a screen came u that said it detected a trojan horse even before I downloaded it.

So like I went to like the whole program files hidden on the computer and found it had Norton Antivirus 200?.

So now I come home and decide to see if the Norton 360 I have detected it and Nothing!

Does it and like do I have to turn it on or something?
