Does the google toolbar make internet explorer crash?

My internet explorer does not work anymore, and I have no option besides reformatting the hard drive. My firefox is still working though. My brother said something about the google toolbar making internet explorer crash. Is this true?

      no, Google toolbar doesn’t it’s just that IE is buggy, and you don’t have to reformat, just uninstall internet explorer and replace it with a better one like safari, or opera.
