Does the orginal xbox wireless adapter work with a windows vista computer?

June 16th, 2008 · 1 Comment

I have an Xbox 360 that I want to connect to Xbox Live. My computer is in a different room than my xbox so I am forced to use a wireless connection. I was told that the original xbox adapter works with the Xbox 360, but was wondering if the setup involved would work with a windows vista powered computer.

      Yes.

Once setup to work with your wireless router's SSID and optional security settings, any device with a working ethernet port/network card will work. As long as your PC running Vista has a working ethernet connection, you can plug it into your (original) Xbox Wireless Adapter and it will connect to your wireless router.
