Viista needs a fairly large install space and I don't think 15gb is anough to install and use. Premium has the Media Center and other large programmes on there. Surely you're not going to run it with no music files, video files and/or documents?

Vista needs a sweet spot of 2gb memory to work efficiently (before registry tweaks) and as we all should know, Windoze tends to bloat it's own registry over time and gets obese with updates. You'll need a nice empty disk on a seperate computer to run Vista efficiently, Microsoft doesn't think about sharing a disk with another OS.

15GB is great for Home Premium! Here's an overview of what you need:

      1 GHz 32-bit (x86) or 64-bit (x64) processor

      1 GB of system memory

40 GB hard drive with at least 15 GB of available space

Support for DirectX 9 graphics with:

      WDDM Driver

128 MB of graphics memory (minimum)

      Pixel Shader 2.0 in hardware

      32 bits per pixel

      DVD-ROM drive

      Audio Output

Well, i wont recommend because your operating system will run very slow that you will get tired of waiting for a file to open up.Yes, it will work in 15 GB partition but you wont have that much space to save files or use it properly.

      regards
