Can classic Dos game be played from the Dos Command prompt found in accesories on Windows XP? I am aware of the Dosbox program available,but was just curious about the command prompt. And it's uses in Windows Xp.

The command prompt cannot be used to play old classic games on Windows XP. I'd recommend using either DOSBox or SCUMMVM for LucasArts classics.

This is NOT a dos box. It is an NT command prompt, it uses NT commands and programs, not dos.
