I have a new computer but it doesn’t recognise my wireless adaptor. I think I need to install a compatible driver for the adaptor to run on Vista. Can anyone send me any safe links for a vista version driver for this adaptor?
Thanks

You are best served by downloading your own driver from the Dell site.
Any other driver, no matter how careful the sender may be, could be incorrect.
Check the exact adapter maker from your device manager to make sure. Although Dell made the pc, it is likely a third party made the wireless adapter.
Make sure the driver is for Vista.
I have had nightmares with some Vista machines and wireless adapters initially but most seem to perform well now. However you must be very careful. Some wireless adapters require a driver that is not only model specific, it can be serial number or build number specific as well. Caution cannot be overstressed herein.

I had no end of problems with the Dell TrueMobile adapter…sometimes it doesn't work that great on XP even.
What model computer do you have? Is that the internal mPCI adapter or the PCMCIA version?
The easiest thing would be to get a USB or PCMCIA adapter at the office store…
