Does anyone else thing he is extremely underrated? He was amazing in The Illusionist, though is accent does need work. He was the best part of The Incredible Hulk and his acting was the only good part of Death To Smoochy! Amazing in Fight Club, I say he overshadowed Pitt. Anyone else thing he's better than people give him credit for? What are your favorite Ed Norton movies?
I didn't say those were the best, they're just a few good ones. Primal Fear is an awesome movie, there's no denying that.

What are you talking about? No one says Edward Norton is a bad actor. He's just not in much, so no one has any chance to praise him.
J.K. Simmons, Malcolm McDowell, Jason Bateman, Luke Wilson… All people who are damn fine actors but they don't find as much work for whatever reason.

Norton is an amazing actor and I'd say that he is under-utilized. He has been called difficult to work with, so that may be why he doesn't get a ton of roles. He may just take the work that he thinks is good, though. My favorite Norton movies are 25th Hour, American History X and Fight Club. Primal Fear was also fantastic!

I always thought Ed Norton was considered an accomplished actor. Just because he doesn't do the big blockbuster films on a regular basis just for a hefty paycheck (*ahem, Will Smith) doesn't mean he's not a great actor. That's just like Johnny Depp. He's amazing but didn't get a lot of credit (worldwide) until Pirates. Ed Norton is definitely a great actor and most critics agree with that.

I think he's a great actor but I wouldn't say underrated. I think he actually is quite famous, well paid and hailed. His best film was American History X and he probably should've won the oscar for it. I haven't seen hulk yet but was actually disappointed he's in it because I liked him in more indie films rather then big blockbuster films which are not about acting but about special effects.

I think his a great actor but he does not get cast alot..Maybe bc his not pretty like brad pitt but he can sure act.
