My computer got to running slow 2 day's ago. I notisted it after I downloaded 5 or 6 free disks trying to help out a friend, wanting to get a free bootup cd for windows 98se. Then we find out she has to get the real one not a downloaded one. I've got the free AVG 8.0 on my computer and I ran a full scan.It found 9 adware and 9 spyware. I did what it said sent it to the virus vault. Do I need to do anything or will the AVG take care of it for me ?

Delete them out of the virus vault. It should be located off of the C drive in a folder called something like AVGVault.
Then, delete all of yuor restore points by going into Start> All Programs> Disk Cleanup and click on the tab that says "remove restore points".

You should be OK, just watch out for any further warnings from AVG.

you can delete from virus vault or leave them there. go to download.com and download spybot search and destroy and or lavasoft adware and run those also. (free and they get rid of the spyware)

Delete them from the vault….before they somehow get restored before AVG gets rid of them (Probably after 10 days)
