Error installing AVG anti-Virus 8.0 Free?

Near the end of installing AVG anti-Virus 8.0 Free on my PC with Windows XP, the following message appears:
Local machine: installation failed
Installation:
Error: Action failed for file avgwdsvc.exe: starting service….
Error 0×800736b1
I truly appreciate your help in solving thsi problem.

      go get avast… avg sucks against actual protection… and avast's spam/spyware will pop up right there instead of slightly showing it… or hiding it till your next virus scan… so ya

      Probably there is a virus. Like my bro computer, any antivirus cannot make it. So I format it. In your case, does any other antivirus can successfully be install beside avg 8.0? If yes, I suggest you install other antivirus than AVG 8.0 because it will really slow down your computer, unlike AVG 7.5.
