I installed the latest ESET Smart Security few days age, and whenever I try to update, it says "The database is up to date, no update necessary". The virus signature database is 2007/10/21, and I can't update! I tried all the possible things (reinstall, repair, etc). What is the possible solution? Do I only have that problem, or is anyone else also havin the same problem?

You will need to log in as the administrator to run the update. ESS 3.0 and EAV 3.0 are nowhere near as good as NOD32 2.7 was - high resource usage akin to a Symantec product. It looks like Eset is losing the plot.
