every time i open windows live messenger my avg says it has found a virus tracking cookies?

i have tryed to uninstall it then reinstal it tryed a later version and delete my cookies and run a virus scan on line and my spybot and ad-aware plus avg it only comes up when i open windows live messenger its driving me nuts can any1 help me get rid of this problem

      That's very peculiar, tracking cookies shouldn't be classified as viruses. All they basically are is parcels of text sent by a server to a web client. They are no where near as destructive as malicious software such as viruses and spyware. Some web browsers actually give you the option of deleting cookies. The most harm they can do is track the websites you are browsing, you can easily rid yourself of tracking cookies by installing a piece of software called CCleaner, if you wish to download this software I'll provide you with a link. http://www.filehippo.com/download_ccleaner/ I hope this has helped you.
