i go to norton page and turn on the auto-protect because it is turned off…but it goes back to off….everytime i open my internet explorer…

1 Start Norton AntiVirus.
If Norton AntiVirus is part of Norton Internet Security or Norton SystemWorks, then start that program.
2 Click Options.
If you see a menu, then click Norton AntiVirus.
3 Under System, click Auto-Protect.
4 Under How to stay protected, uncheck Start Auto-Protect when Windows starts up (recommended).
5 Click OK.
6 Restart the computer.
7 Repeat this entire step (STEP 3), except in line 5 check Start Auto-Protect when Windows starts up (recommended).
