when you download this anti-spyware from this site
http://www.ewido.net/en/onlinescan/

it doesn’t require installation? i look up on my add/remove programs but doesn’t show on there either nor the program files folder.

      All it looks like to me is a scanner (Based on your link) Your not installing anything when you run it, it just scans your system. Its browser based. Avast! is great to prevent any sort of infection. Also, Spybot S&D can rid of most problems. Soo….
