Hi, I’m in the market to find an external sound card to record vocals. Not many sound cards are compatible with Windows Vista Home Premium. If you know any good reliable sound cards that are compatible with Vista please let me know. Thank you.
No, I am not using a cheap microphone. Microphone alone costs avg 400 dollars.

If your aren’t recording with a cheap $10 mic you might want to look into a firewire recording interface. You can get sound cards that do this, but you will have a lot more options and better quality with a firewire interface since sound cards are generally focused on the output rather than the input. Search amazon for Firewire Recording Interface.
