Hey, my facebook chat is neither working in the previous firefox version, nor in the latest version 3. I dont have any pop up blocker in firefox, and neither an external one. i also tried putting it as a sidebar, yet the sidebar will not display facebook chat.
Though the chat is working in IE for some reason..
tried that..it didnt work

The chat thing is purely Javascript. If it's not showing up, Javascript is not working.
This is kinda odd because Firefox has Javascript enabled by default, and it doesn't rely on another program.
Just to check, go into your preferences: Edit -> Preferences. In the Content tab, make sure Enable Javascript is checked. If it's not, check it and restart Firefox.
It's also quite possible that Facebook disabled it for whatever reason. It all of a sudden coming back online when you tried it with IE may have been a coincidence. If Facebook were to alter it's system, it would have done it at times of low activity, like a Sunday night.
