Fake Windows Security Center icon removal?

May 8th, 2008 · 2 Comments

I have a problem with this fake Windows Security Center icon that has the UltimateFader, Systemdefender, and Syscleaner and I can't remove it via right-click.

How can I solve this problem without reformatting my hard drive, buying new software, and confusing programs?

There's a way to hide it, but you can't remove it. It might be a virus or spyware. You can hide those Icons by right clicking the taskbar, click properties, beside hide inactive icons click customize, then select the icon you want to hide, and on the drop down menu, select always hide. Be sure to do a virus scan.
