i downloaded the fallout 3 game ripped by skullptura and i cant get it to work, it said that it couldnt find the xlive.dll file so i got it from google and then i put it in windows\system32 folder like it said and then i play the game and it says “xlive.dll is either not designed to run on windows or it contains an error. ” blah blah blah, do you think you could help me? anyone who has got the ripped one could you help pleasE?

Here is a patched version of xlive.dll that works 100%:

Copy it and put one copy in system32 and the other copy in the game folder.

it should do the trick.
extract (unrar) the files into the folder where you have the game and it should say, do you want to overwrite the Data file, (basically, you are over writing the "Data" file and the run the file called "start_ffix.bat".
this might take up to or even over an hour. I am doing it as i am writhing this very answer so i hope it does work, everyone else i found in a forum said it works so it should.
If you are on vista, make sure the User Account Control (UAC) is turned off. after installing the fix, you can turn the UAC back on and then play this amazing game.
