Ok so i’ve used AVG for the last few years mainly because it’s faster than every other one that i’ve found. It barely slows the computer down at all when it’s just sitting there monitoring. However since the new one has come out I have noticed it makes the computer so much slower. I’ve also had other people complaining to me that their computers are running slow and they also have the new AVG. AVG has always been very good to me but this new one ugh. I’m a power user and basically if anything slows my computer down the slightest bit I notice. However I’m not the smartest with antiviruses because I’ve always just used avg becuase it was free and fast. I’ve trid mcafee only becuase I get that for free from my internet service but wow it’s far worse than avg, plus that comes iwth a firewall and all that other stuff that I really don’t need or want. Also the new avg inclues spyware protection which is great for people that need it but when you know what NOT to do, you don’t have those problems. So basically what i’m asking is if anyone knows of another antivirus that’s free, or else cheap, that will do the job and not use my system resources to the max like the new avg likes to. I’ve tried just exiting avg that wya I still have it but just not running when I Dont’ want it but the avg service continues to run and hog the cpu and memory when I don’t want it to be. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated, thanks!

ok if you want youre computer running fast as lightning get windows live onecare and spybot s&d these are great things to have on youre computer and they kill everything bad on youre computer like this onecare takes care of everything malicous and then spybot takes care of anything spyware after you run scans with both of them youre computer will be greatyoy can get onecare at gallery.live.com and get 3 months free but after that you gotta buy it and you get spybot at spybot.info
