Fight Club–How the hell did Edward Norton/Brad Pitt get the bag of fat over the fence when he/they stole it?

There's that part where he/they go and steal the fat with which to make the soap. I mean, I understand most aspects of the movie what with Brad Pitt is Edward Norton and all that, but really…Brad throws the bag of fat over the fence, it rips, and Edward catches it. I mean, I'm sure it's all in his mind or whatever, but it still doesn't really make any sense…Anyways, just thought I'd ask and see what your thoughts are…

      I dont remember that scene but i loved the movie. So I guess this doesnt help
