I was wondering…I am looking for a way to encrypt a Microsoft Word Document but through an unconventional means. Is it possible to have Word ask for a password, and if the password is wrong, have it display predetermined text that you want to be seen, but is actually not the document. Then, if you provide the correct password, it shows the actual document. That would be pretty neat, as nobody would be suspicious as to what the actual contents were, assuming it to be a glitch or a really luck guess. If you can't do it within Word, is there another program that can do it?

OpenOffice can do it, but you have to use OpenOffice formats.

Truecrypt will allow you to create an encrypted drive that if you type in one password will show you bogus stuff but the correct password will show you the right thing.
