Recently Firefox has been giving me problems displaying ANY image I want to view (though viewing images on a website such as buttons and stuff are fine). This has never happened in the past and now every time I want to view a image (blah.jpg, blah.png, blah.ANYTHING), it gives me the error, "The image 'blahblah.jpg' cannot be displayed, because it contains errors." And then it looks like the webpage keeps refreshing and refreshing! So fast that I cannot retype an address in the URL bar. Another thing is, when I go to a new tab and still have the picture opened in another tab, the image will appear! But then I can't save it or resize it. Help! >_< (Btw, I can view images in Internet Explorer just fine).

It might be an interferance between different add-ons.
Try deactivating all addons and restart firefox.
if it works without the addons, activate one after the other and always check with a restart if it still works.
This should help you solve the problem.

scan for spyware. then, stop going to pr0n.
