Firefox Problems?

May 8th, 2008 · 4 Comments

I had Firefox installed on my computer. Due to certain reasons I uninstalled it. Now I want to install it again. But after installation I cant open Firefox. I get error message that Firefox 2.exe has been changed. I repeatedly uninstalled and installed again but this error keeps coming. How to correct this problem? Pl help.
No juice folks. I asked Kaspersky to allow. But it still give message that FIREFOX.EXE has been changed. I also added Mozilla.com to Kaspersky trusted sites. Now what?

Follow this link http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/ and install the latest Firefox version. It should be ok

Do u have an antivirus program like Kaspersky installed?

I think the firewall on this is asking for the permission to connect to internet for the changed firefox program. Just click the option to allow the connection to the internet on the window you get the error message u mentioned. That will do.

      Download from http://www.filehippo.com and install.
Also download ccleaner from same site.
See in C:/Program files/ folder Mozilla or FireFox.
      Any files still left ?

You might have download it twice and now you will have to backup the file.
