When i open limewire i cannot connect to the internet, it shows its blocked by a firewall.
I checked my main firewall on my comp and although its on, i have limewire as an exception. Even if i turn it off it still says limewire is behind a firewall.
Limewire worked fine until yesterday afternoon. What other program could have a firewall thats blocking it?
I have avg for security on my comp but i dont see anything about a firewall so im guessing thats not the problem?
Im not too good with this stuff so any help is greatly appreciated.
( and no i didnt add any new programs lately that would cause it to be blocked by a firewall)
well i got it fixed and there was a very simple solution, if anyone can tell me what i did to fix it, i will give them the points! =)

you can allow programs through a firewall in control panel
that might not change anything though
