Firewall will not access me to the internet?!?

I have a Toshiba Laptop and Norton Security and i also have the firewall on but the internet explorer will not display the page (won’t work) so to make it work i have to turn off the firewall but if i turn off the firewall i get a lot of bad pop-ups that’s not good for children what can i do to make the internet work and not have the pop-ups at the same time please explain to me what do i do step by step please.

P.S. I already put Internet Explorer in the exceptions of the firewall but it still wont work!

      Go to your Firewall settings in in program controls allow full trust to internet explorer.

      unlock the port and secure the gateway. its number is 613. you’ll access the internet but no pop ups, virus or any bad thing.YW!

      Ok with internet explorer open. Click tools. Then go to internet options. Click on the advanced tab. Uncheck Enable third party browser extensions. That should take care of your pop ups. Another thing you can try is to get antispyware software.
