Free Antivirus/Spyware Protection for Mac?

September 25th, 2008 · 3 Comments

I have a Macbook with Leopard and I was wondering if there are any free antivirus/antispyware programs out there. I know of a few for Windows, but, unfortunately, those are only available for PC systems. Does anyone know of any for Mac?

You don’t need any Anti-Virus for MAC.

Mac OS uses a different type of System to PC’s making it much much more difficult to be infected by a virus, you don’t need anti-virus software on a mac so problem solved

There are some anti-virus software for Macs. Avast and Avg are both free and good to use. If people say that you do not need one, it a lie. Software companies will not support something if they know they will not get money or use. So it is true, get one.
