Gameguard virus! avast! Anti-virus detects rootkit!?

Yesterday, avast! anti-virus detected a root-kit in:

C:/Nexon\MapleStory\GameGuard\dump_wmimm…
Virus Name: Win32:Rootkit-gen [Rtk]
Type: Rootkit

I accidentally hit “Add to chest” which deleted the file, which is a false positive. In other words, a fake virus. Should I reinstall the game and add it to the safe list or what?
