My comp broke down it was a WIndows Xp proffesional
I loved that comp
i had 8 games tone of music etc etc
Now anyways if it dosent get fixed im allowed to get a new comp
BUT im being pressured to get a vista
Now i dont want to get a vista but the only reason is i want to play games and that un fair i should use a comp for school
Anyways ( sorry for dragging on)
which of the floowing games will go on a vista
Counter Strike 1.6
Maple Story
Gunbound
Rakion
WOW
Dota
DMC4
Command and conqure

Vista isnt that bad of a system, you just gotta turn off all the crap.
I've played all of those except maple story on my vista prem. machine.

actually i think all of them
the only game i've had a problem with was the CD version of portal but the orange box works fine
most games are compatible with vista so don't worry

vista is just like xp expect it has dx 10 in addition to dx 9 so all will work we hate vista b/c its a recourse whore

Vista and games dont go well together, i actually told the sales guy i am not buying this computer unless they load it with windows xp which they did because have heard nothing but problems bout vista and not being able to run games well

all games that ive ever played on vista work, especially CS, WOW, you should be fine for all of them

I've played most these games on vista. Most games all work on Windows vista. When it doesnt work its a firewall problem and it is solved by simple Right clicking then Run as Administrator.
