I tried the gimp download for leopard on my mac. but when i go to start gimp i get this message- “The application Gimp 2.4 quit unexpectedly
Mac OS X and other applications are not affected.
Click Relaunch to launch the application again. Click Report to see more details or send a report to Apple.”
And i tried to relaunch but that failed so then i tried to download it again to see if it just was a corrupted download but it still didn’t work. so i tried downloading from different sources and still nothing. so i decided to look at the error report. heres what it said
“Dyld Error Message:
Library not loaded: /usr/X11/lib/libXrandr.2.dylib
Referenced from: /tmp/skl/Gimp.app/Contents/Resources/lib/libgtk-x11-2.0.0.dylib
Reason: Incompatible library version: libgtk-x11-2.0.0.dylib requires version 4.0.0 or later, but libXrandr.2.dylib provides version 3.0.0″
and i have no idea what that means so can someone please help me?

It means you have an outdated system library that GIMP needs a newer version of. Try getting an older version of GIMP or making sure you have done all your system updates and it should work.
