I've been using AVG (free) for a couple years, but also have WinPatrol..and checking on a few items in winpatrol it seems that I may have some trojans etc., that AVG isn't picking up. I've tried AVAST (free), but it seems to slow this old dinosaur down even more. (could just be me thinking that). Does anyone have any suggestions at all. (avira isn't supported by this program)…Thanks.

You might try Advnced Windows Care (www.iobit.com) it works great.Also try zone alarm.Ihave winpatrol and it works very good on my pc. Also crapcleaner and ad-aware are very good additions.PC tools antivirus is an good,my pc is squeeky clean.
