Graham Norton ‘Apple’ Pin?

On the last episode (starring Karen Allen), Graham and his guests were wearing pins that looked like apples.

Does anyone know what the pins were about?

At first I thought is was something that went along with his jacket (which are always something different and unique) but then I saw his guest wearing the lapels/pins.
