Okay, so I went on my facebook one time, and I found that there was a conversation started by me, that wasn't started by me. It was calling one of my friends an immiture freak. He got angry at me, and thinks it's really me. Then it happened again. So I was forced to change my password. There are no clues no way that someone could have gotten on. Butthen I go on again today, and find that I can't get on my facebook. I had to have facebook send me and e-mail that gave me the option to reset my password.
I reset it to the second one, and was able to get on my facebook, only to find there was another vulgar comment sent to my friend. IT HAPPENED AGAIN! I don't get it. The only possible way was if they hacked on to my e-mail too. And unfortunately, the first facebook password I had was the same password as my e-mail, so I figure it's a possibility. But this is the strange thing. Out of all the things someone could screw with on my profile, they only hacked on to dis my friend nothing else.. Why?
All I want is to know how to find out who's doing this, and if not that, than I want to know how to stop this, for good.

The only thing you can do is reset your password on facebook and on all your e-mail addresses. If it dosen't help then contact facebook.

change both passwords to something completely random and different from eachother. someone is just being stupid and immature. just make sure you talk with your friend and tell them it wasnt you.

this can happen if that person knows your msn password.. if you changed your password already they can request to send you there password and then they could go on your email.. by typing in your password and getting your password from the facebook.. i never knew this was possible but it has happend to me.. i posted some pictures of my friends and I and this person kept on taking them down.. and plus they kept on saying rude comments about my friends.. claming it to be me.. so i created a new msn account adress and added everyone from my old one.. the old fashion way.. by writing ALL the emails down on paper.. and then putting them into my new account and i also created a new facebook too.. i told all of my friends about it and now they understand.. its funny to check on my old account though (facebook) cause that person is still writing those comments even though i dont use it.. so now we know its definatly not me.. cause im on my new facebook like ALL the time.. so do what i did.. go to the hotmail adress make a new account.. add everyone from your old one.. then make a new facebook account.. and add every one..
good luck!
it happens to the best of us sometimes.. but just remember to make your password a number mixed in with a lettor.. its harder that way for people to get at your password too.

Most likely after you entered your username and your password, You checked the "Remember Me" box (which is directly below the username and password box).
If you did check this "Remember Me" box, then anyone else can excess your Facebook Account even after you logout of the site and leave the computer.
If you would NOT check the "Remember Me" box you would not a ANY problems with other people using you Facebook Account without you knowing it.

SAME HERE! They reset my password so many times by getting into my email too that I can’t reset the password anymore. They changed my ‘about me’ to ‘I like to smoke pot.’ and all this stuff. How long until I can reset my password again?

There are many sites were you can get to the main databases that hold all all the passwords and email adresses for facebook and myspace if there really a talented hacker. Though even if there not they can still get to them but there is the high chance of viruses. But i think in your case someone was just smart enough to know your password, which sucks. Though there are tons of ways they could have gotten it so i don’t know.

If they know your email password, they can easily reset your FB password. So change your email password AND your FB password.

Same thing happened to me 2 months ago. Somebody hacked into my facebook account and couldn’t log-in to it. Saw the hacker opened my former chat in facebook and then closed it upon seeing me on it. I maintain the hacker to be in my friends list so that I can observe who are in his friends’ list and then warn those people.

Grow up you lot.
You might have rubbish passwords - change them to something with numbers and upper- and lower- case characters, and don’t use words - jumble the characters up a bit at least.
You might be using a shared computer in which case don’t ask the computer to store your password.
You might have a keylogger running. Install a decent anti-virus program and keep it up-to-date (and get rid of the keylogger or they’ll hack your new passwords too).
If you got hacked, it’s almost always because of something that YOU did. Most computer users have a terrible security mentality. 99 times out of 100 this is because they’re lazy and can’t be bothered doing things securely. Being hacked or getting and passing on viruses is the penalty.
You can’t have it both ways.
