my college has a wireless network through which they provide internet. when ever we try to connect to internet it asks for an user name and a password. how can I hack them. If not I have my own username and password to use the internet but I have speed restrictions. there are different types of services they provide. the service which I have taken is having speed limitation. some of the other servises get very High speed. how can I get high speed.

Well….if it require a username and a password, you basically can't.
However, if you still want to try, you can use a program like Ophcrack, or airsnort.

Hacking is illegal. Hacking a pass encrypted signal of an kind is illegal. IF you finally learn how to do so they can and will track you. IF you are caught punishment is severe under Federal Law. You risk being Expelled from your College and fined heavily for your crime If you so do so…..

ask the college nicely, and give them a good reason - and they might give you high speed access.
but from the fact that you have to ask, i would doubt that you have the skill to hack into it without a lot of practice, and i would imagine that you'd get caught very quick by the admins - sounds like something you could get kicked out of college for.
There are tools out there that will do what you want, but im not going to provide links - oh and you need a wifi card that can be used in promiscuios mode.
Youd be better off asking, or watching someone who has high speed access login, and use their details.

hack them? you should just ask for the username and password by calling. since you have speed restrictions, try using a different wireless connection if you can find one. you'd be surprised what you can find just parking your car in an apartment complex. However, if you log on to an unsecured wireless network be prepared to be hacked by someone else. Some hackers set up unsecure wireless access points to hack other's laptops and pcs.

Choose a linux distro you will find a lot of encription and network tools to use for hacking. You can use a live disc without installing!

hai my friend, it maybe true that hackers were employed to trace out the Osamabin ladan,s account details. But it is puely illigal. and as a person managing a small network i can say that you will be easily caught and face the consequences.

if you guys ever find any networks that are protected try using the password
admin
it is the password every wireless router has before people change it. and must people dont change it
