Please help! The file hal.dll has showed up while i tried to restart my computer. It says its missing!!!
It shows up as soon as the PC turns on… There is a way to do it through the CD but can someone help me?

The tool you want is known as the Recovery Console. It allows you to copy files without Windows running. You may be able to reach it through "the CD" (depending on exactly what "CD" it is), but be careful that you don’t go down the System Recovery path quite yet. That’s a one-way street.
Read up on it first.
