I don't really know much about full drive encryption and haven't done it on any of my devices before.
Question:
I have sensitive data on a notebook.
Naturally, I would like to have the full drive encryption that most existing programs can currently provide, though better encryption is more desireable. Along with that however, I would like a feature that, on booting and password entry (I'm assuming this is how they work…) will wipe the drive if the incorrect password is entered, even once (ok, maybe three times, I drink a lot).
It shouldn't just "delete" the files, I'm talking rewriting all of the blocks, like a legitimate wipe.
Any answers, much appreciated.
Note:
I understand that wiping a large drive would take some time and wouldn't happen immediately, let's ignore that though.
