I had the AT&T on line protection software suite installed which included Norton anti-virus, anti-spyware, firewall etc. It worked very well & I liked it. Just recently I have been informed that my
license expired. This is free of charge to AT&T dsl subscribers. What is the deal? It told me to uninstall & reinstall–which I did–but the yellow triangle with ! mark is still showing. It tells me I have the latest protection, but I can't run a manual scan or edit the settings.

Contact At&t and find out what happened…Normally, the virus scanner is for new customers and for a limited time..usually a year….At&t should offer you a discount for a new license key, if they do not give it to your for free….I highly recommend AVG which has a completly free version that works better without slowing your whole pc down…

u must be careful when you un install the virus program on your cpu. you can only remove the virus program not the live update part of norton. re start and install the security suite from the att yahoo page. do not install from the norton site as this is trial ware with a 15-60 day limit with a fee. yahoo browser seems to be another un supported item going the way of a slow death re birth. up dates will get your cpu back to a comfort level of operation but no-where back to what you have become familiar with.
