I have tried the free version of it however it was a while ago and i can't remember if I liked it. Would anyone recommend another program instead/

The Best online program I've found is Webroot and it is not that expensive. It scans for thousands of viruses and email
problems.

You're going to get many different views on which is the best antivirus/anti spyware/firewall. It is really your own preference to which you like best.
For an antivirus, i would recommend either one of the following. (remember only have one antivirus program on your computer)
AVG

BitDefender

These antiviruses are all free.
I don't recommend norton because it is a memory hog, i.e. uses a lot more of resources than the other programs i've mentioned.
