Does anyone know why Firefox would suddenly stop saving web pages from the markup and images that it already possess from downloading and displaying a web page and start downloading the web page a second time all over again when I select to save a web page?
It isn’t “reloading” the page, that stays the same, it’s doing a second time in the background.
“Web Page, complete” is always selected.
It downloads it twice, once to view it in the browser and a second time if you want to save the web page.
If I interrupt that process the markup is not saved but a folder of the images are saved.
Plus on one site if I select to save the web page, the images are saved in a folder but the markup never is but yet if I let the comp set there, there is endless traffic between my comp and that site (enough time passed as if I was to download a 2 or 3 megabyte file in that same amount if time instead of the text markup of a web page which is puny in comparison) but still the markup is NEVER saved.
Firefox refuses to save the images and markup that it already has.
Another problem is that Firefox can be in possession of all the markup between the html tags and still not render the page until the very last character of image code or whatever is downloaded. If I hit my firewall and stop all traffic, Firefox suddenly renders the page. Why the hangup? Other browsers render the page in real time and it’s like its all filled in as the page seems to fall together like magic.

Ive heard of a few people are having some problems, its probably best to either see if you are on the latest version if not download the latest patch OR move over to the new Google Chrome browser, Ive heard its really easy, powerful and loads 3 times faster then all other browsers!
