Has someone put spyware onto my computer?

When I tried to reply my gmail, after 2-3 keystrokes, the cursor will move to my browser search window on upper right. When I on msn chat, it kept firing up multiple emotions windows. When I tried to chat for live support, it will close my window and fire up a new browser window. It even mess up my other application for trading.

Is someone spying on me? I had my emails stolen before by a crazy ex gf. Please advise what shall I do?
