having problems with my firewall?

June 30th, 2008 · 1 Comment

ok so basically my internet card went out for the wireless. so i hooked a crossover cable from this computer to my uncles(…router is too far away for cable) for ics..internet sharing for those that dont know. anyways when i try to download a game called silkroad every time i try to launch it, it gives me a client corruption error..problem is that its not corrupted. it tells u that when it cant connect to their server. i disabled his firewall through our router and i am still firewalled..tried to unblock both our ip's firewall at the same time and got a port overlap error. was wondering if there was a way to unblock both our ports with two different ip's i have 192.168.1.100, and he has 192.168.1.103 and i cant unblock both with the same port. i tried just unblocking his thinking it would unblock mine..but it dont. any help would be nice thanks
