I did everything possible to sort out and root out the source of this problem. I'm getting an error message after attempting to download the McAfee Anti-virus Software. The error message says: JavaScript not running correctly on this PC. I disabled pop-up blocker, enable active scripting, made sure that Scripting of Java applets, Java permissions, Java console and Java logging were enabled, made sure Java was updated and running good. I deleted cookies, browsing history, etc. I even uninstalled and reinstalled Java and ran a test to see if it was running correctly. The test was positive. Everything is running correctly. I even gave tech support remote access to my PC to diagnose the problem but the tech concluded that I might have to call Java. There are no contact numbers on the Java.com website. What can I do to solve this issue? Any help would be greatly appreciated. If necessary, I can be reached at mindixon@att.net. I really need to solve this issue. Please help.
